In partnership with the Appalachian Regional Commission and ShinyDoor, the Mason County Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a FREE entry level social networking workshop.

This is a three hour workshop and is limited to the first thirty registrants. The workshop is hands-on, and eases non-users of social networking into professional use of social media. You’ll discover how to begin growing and promoting your business, expanding your network, and promoting yourself.

In the Mason County Area Chamber of Commerce Social Networking 101 for Professionals, you’ll find:

  • The purpose of social networks
  • Structures of LinkedIn and Facebook
  • How to create a professional online business representation
  • How to generate warm leads
  • How to build a strong network
  • How to integrate online and offline networking

Curriculum

The class will be taught by Laura Rees, ShinyDoor Vice Chancellor & Social Networking Consultant.

This free workshop will take place at MOVC, Sandhill Road, Point Pleasant, WV.
