I assist Connect Your Community (a BTOP funded project) with participant training, staff training and various other tasks. With over 100 staff spread across 7 cities (5 states), webinars are the most economical and efficient means of providing professional developement. Coordinating the schedules of over 100 folks to attend a webinar is impossible. Our solution - those who can attend the webinar do, those who cannot watch the recorded webinar as fits their schedule.

Our choice of tools:

  • Webinar - Webex (which includes a recording feature)
  • Video Sharing - Vimeo Channel

The professional development webinar topics range from guidance on how to teach CYC participant training modules to professional skill building. We recognize this is a two year project and we need to help our staff be prepared for their next position.
