The Adult Education Center at the Career and Technology Education Centers (C-TEC) of Licking County will be hosting Social Networking for Professionals 201. The sessions will be instructed by Angela Siefer, social networking consultant.
Social Networking for Professionals 201 is a 3 class seminar, 2 hours per class.
Dates: May 1, May 15 and May 29
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $72.00 for the six hour course.
This hands on class will guide current users of social networking tools into strategic use of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Plaxo. Students will discover specific methods for growing and promoting
their businesses, expanding their network and promoting themselves.
Students will learn how to:
- create a consistent, genuine professional online representation,
- generate warm leads,
- build a strong network,
- integrate online and offline networking
- conduct advanced LinkedIn and Facebook searches
- establish and use Facebook Groups and Pages for your company or organization
- participate and initiate LinkedIn Groups and Answers
- carefully expand your network through Twitter
- sync your contacts with Plaxo.
This class is for you if you currently use social networking tools and are ready to discover how to use them strategically. If you do not currently use social networking tools such as LinkedIn or Facebook or have just begun to explore them, you will find Social Networking For Professionals 101 is more likely to meet your needs.
